We started this because we were the customer getting the runaround

For years Brandon Wakeland was on the buying side of this work. He hired pressure washing companies to clean parking garages and re-stripe lots, and he kept running into the same three problems.

Prices moved. A number quoted in the spring was a different number by summer, and there was rarely an explanation. The crews changed constantly, so every visit meant explaining the property again to someone new, and some of the companies simply closed. And the work itself was uneven, needing callbacks to finish or fix areas that should have been right the first time.

The part that bothered him most was the expectation setting. Nobody ever told him what a realistic outcome looked like. He was sold a perfect result every time, and he rarely got one.

So he rented the equipment and learned the trade himself. Years later, the conclusion was simple enough to act on: this could be done better. Upfront price integrity. Realistic expectations from the start. Employees treated well enough that the same people keep showing up.

That is Ascension. It is a small company on purpose, family owned and operated out of Weatherford, and every policy in it is a reaction to something he did not get as a customer.
