Window Cleaning in Weatherford, TX

Glass left without streaks, plus the screens, tracks and sills that get skipped. Homes and storefronts.

Most window cleaning complaints are not about the glass. They are about everything around it: a clean pane sitting in a track full of grit, screens put back dirty, and a line of drip marks on the sill. Glass is the easy part.

We clean the whole opening. Glass inside and out where you want it, screens washed and dried before they go back, tracks and sills cleared out, and frames wiped down so nothing runs back onto the pane after we leave.

The one thing worth knowing before you book: hard water spots are not dirt. If a sprinkler head has been hitting the same window for years, the minerals have etched into the glass and need a separate treatment. We will tell you which of your windows have that and which just need cleaning.

Why it happens here

Two things ruin windows here. The first is dust: red clay and construction dust from every new subdivision going up, which turns to a film the moment it rains. The second is sprinkler overspray, which leaves hard water minerals that build up and eventually etch the glass permanently if nobody deals with them.

How the job runs

  1. 1

    Glass, in and out

Interior and exterior, your call on which. Interior work includes covering the sill and floor below before anything starts.

  2. 2

    Screens washed and dried

Taken out, washed, dried, and put back in the opening they came from. A dirty screen over clean glass defeats the point.

  3. 3

    Tracks and sills cleared

The grit and debris in the bottom track is what keeps a window from closing right. It gets vacuumed and wiped rather than pushed around.

  4. 4

    Frames and edges wiped down

So the first rain does not run dirt from the frame straight back across the glass you just paid to clean.

Included on this service

Screens, Tracks and Sills

The parts of a window that usually get left dirty.

This is included, not an add-on, because leaving it out is what makes window cleaning look unfinished. Screens come out and get washed and dried separately rather than sprayed in place, which just drives dirt into the mesh. Tracks get the grit cleared out, which is what is actually stopping the window from sliding and closing properly. Sills get wiped so nothing drips back down over the clean glass.

Answers

Window Cleaning questions

If it is not here, text us. You will get a real answer, not a sales pitch.

Can you get hard water spots off the glass?
Sometimes. Mineral deposits sitting on the surface come off with a dedicated treatment. If sprinkler water has been hitting the same pane for years, the minerals have etched into the glass itself and that is permanent. We can tell the two apart when we look at it, and we will not charge you for a treatment that cannot work.
Do you do interior windows too?
Yes, if you want them. Interiors take longer because everything below the window gets covered first and the work is done around your furniture, so it is priced separately from exterior only.
How often should windows be cleaned?
Twice a year suits most homes here, usually after spring pollen and again after the summer dust. Storefronts are a different story and are typically monthly, because the entry glass is the first thing your customers touch.
