House Washing in Aledo, TX
Light stone and stucco, and an HOA that is paying attention.
From $150Every price is quoted after we look at the surface, and it does not change on the invoice.
5.0on GoogleThe white and cream stone that defines Walsh Ranch and MorningStar is porous, and the mortar between it is softer than brick. It cleans up beautifully with a soft wash and it marks permanently under a pressure tip, which makes the method more important here than almost anywhere.
Most of our Aledo house washing calls come with an HOA in the background. People would rather deal with green siding before a letter arrives than after one. The good news is that these homes are new enough that the surfaces underneath are in excellent shape, so the work is purely cosmetic and the before and after difference is dramatic.
Local conditions in Aledo
- Big light-colored driveways. Newer Aledo homes have wide, pale concrete approaches, often with a decorative border. Light concrete shows red dust, tire marks and organic growth far more than the older grey slabs in town, and it needs even pressure across the whole surface or the cleaning pattern shows too.
- Light stone and stucco fronts. The white and cream stone that defines these neighborhoods is porous, and the mortar between it is softer than brick. It cleans up beautifully with a soft wash and gets permanently marked by a pressure tip.
- New construction on every side. Aledo is still building, and the dust from that lands on finished houses. It is the main reason a two year old home already looks tired at the roofline and on the windows.

What the job includes
We protect the landscaping first
Beds and plantings get pre-wet before anything else happens, and rinsed again at the end. Nothing goes on the house until the ground around it is covered.
Solution on at low pressure
Enough dwell time to kill the algae and mildew rather than just knocking the color off it. This is the step that decides whether the green stays gone.
A full rinse, top to bottom
Every washed surface gets rinsed the same way, so you do not end up with a clean patch next to a dirty one.
Photos before and after
Every area we touch, sent to you when the job is done. You see the difference on the surfaces you cannot get a look at yourself.

House Washing questions
If it is not here, text us. You will get a real answer, not a sales pitch.
- Will a soft wash strip my paint or damage the siding?
- No. That risk comes from high pressure, and a soft wash does not use it. The pressure at the surface is closer to a garden hose than a pressure washer. The cleaning is done by the solution, not by force.
- How long before the algae comes back?
- Most houses go two to three years before the north side starts to turn again, depending on how much shade and moisture that wall gets. A wash that only knocks the color off without killing the growth will come back within a season, which is the usual reason people think house washing does not last.
- Do you wash the gutters too?
- Yes, and it is worth doing at the same time. Clearing the trough and brightening the face both happen off the same ladder, so bundling them costs less than booking gutters separately later.
